Thani Thatuwen Piyambanna, Aksharaya, Sulanga Enu Pinisa… Just like Robert Frost says, I know I have miles to go before I sleep. So, here I am telling you that I am ready for my next conquest. But this time, it’s with a metamorphosis of myself. Yes. I produced the above-mentioned films. It was a great journey with Ashoka Handagama and Vimukthi Jayasundara – a cinematic journey with wonderful, creative and brilliant film directors of my time! And Thangamale Diaries is the first movie that will be produced and directed at the same time by me.
Thangamale Diaries is planned in such a way that it is going to be a massive production. So, long story short – it needs your valuable support to come to life. This cinematic initiative won’t stop in a local scale. We have planned to screen the movie globally. So, if you are a cinephile who is interested in contributing for the betterment of cinema, we would be very grateful if you would allocate the amount you spend for a cup of coffee, or a bottle of wine for our movie. If anyone wishes to support us by making a financial investment of 1 million LKR or more, she/ he will be listed as a co-producer of the movie. මීට වසර කිහිපයකට ප්‍රථම අශෝක හඳගම විසින් අධ්‍යක්ෂණය කරන ලද ‘තනි තටුවෙන් පියාඹන්න’ සහ ‘අක්ෂරය’ යන චිත්‍රපටත්, විමුක්ති ජයසුන්දර විසින් අධ්‍යක්ෂණය කරන ලද ‘සුළඟ එනු පිණිස’ චිත්‍රපටයත් නිෂ්පාදනය කළ මා ප්‍රථම වරට නිෂ්පාදනය කොට අධ්‍යක්ෂණය කරන සිනමා කෘතිය ‘තංගමලේ ඩයරීස්’ ය. විවිධ කලා නිර්මාණ නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීම සඳහා මවිසින් අරඹන ලද Two17 ආයතනයේ නිෂ්පාදනයක් වශයෙන් එය ඉදිරියේ දී එළිදැකීමට නියමිත ය.
ලොව පුරා මා හිතවත් විශාල පිරිසක් ‘තංගමලේ ඩයරීස්’ සිනමා කෘතියට විවිධාකාරයෙන් දායකත්වය දැක්වීමට කැමැත්තෙන් පසු වෙති. මෙම චිත්‍රපටය දැවැන්ත නිෂ්පාදනයක් නිසා එහි නිෂ්පාදන පිරිවැය සපුරාගැනීම සඳහා එම පිරිස දායක කරගැනීමටත්, ඔවුන් හරහා ජාත්‍යන්තර වශයෙන් චිත්‍රපටය ප්‍රදර්ශනය කිරීමටත් අරමුණු කරමි. ඒ අනුව එම කටයුත්ත වෙනුවෙන් සාමූහික අරමුදලක් ආරම්භ කර ඇත.
සිනමාව පිළිබඳ අභිවෘද්ධිකාමී අදහසක් සහිත ඔබ, ‘තංගමලේ ඩයරීස්’ වෙනුවෙන් ඔබේ කෝපි කෝප්පයක, වයින් බෝතලයක වියදම වෙන් කරන්නේ නම් එය අපට ප්‍රීතිමත් දායකත්වයක් වනු ඇත. චිත්‍රපටය වෙනුවෙන් රුපියල් මිලියනයකට වැඩි මුල්‍යමය ආයෝජනයක් සිදු කරන කවුරුන් හෝ වෙත් නම්, ඔහු හෝ ඇය චිත්‍රපටයේ සම නිෂ්පාදකයෙකු ලෙස නාමාවලියට ඇතුළත් කිරීමට අපේක්ෂා කෙරේ. ‘තංගමලේ ඩයරීස්’ සිනමා කෘතිය නිෂ්පාදනයට දායක වීමේ ප්‍රීතිය අත්විඳින්නට සිනමාවට හිතැති ඔබ සැමට ආරාධනා කරමි.
